Mythologist & Cultural Story Interpreter

I explore how ancient myth lives inside modern culture, from film and television to identity, motherhood, and the stories we tell about ourselves.

Myth Is Not Past — It Is Pattern

Our superhero films function as pantheons.
Our apocalyptic dramas rehearse collective fear.
Our romance stories ritualize belonging.
Our national myths shape identity long before policy does.

I study the myth beneath the moment.

We do not simply inherit myth.
We live inside it.
We co-create it.

Lydia Griffiths is a mythologist exploring the enduring patterns that shape culture, identity, and story. Her work examines how ancient archetypes surface in modern film, national narratives, and personal transformation.
